What's On - Friday 30 October - Thursday 5 November
We're just a bit excited because we've just discovered that Family Tree Frog has been selected for preservation in the Pandora - Australia's Web Archives. A big thank you to State Library of Queensland for recognising us.
You can check out other Family History blogs that have been preserved here.
This resonates even more strongly with me as I am studying Digital Preservation at the moment.
GSQ have a busy month ahead of them as they are re-locating their premises to Wishart. The library will be closed from 3pm tomorrow and will remain closed during November. All the best with the move folks.
Here's the calendar for the rest of the week. Enjoy!

Is it tough to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal
but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting uup my own but I'm not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Thank you
Not off topic at all. Setting up a blog is super easy and I recommend using Blogger as a platform because it is so user-friendly. There are some great books out there to help you as well e.g. Blogging for Dummies. I'm not sure where you live but I know that fellow blogger Jill Ball at Geniaus has delivered blogging courses in Sydney and I have delivered one in Brisbane at QFHS and will deliver another one at Moreton Bay Library service early next year, if that helps. You should be able to find some You Tube videos to help you too.
Good luck.
