The theme for this week is "Popular Name." Amy says: “ Do you have an ancestor who had a name that was popular/trendy at the time? Is there a name that keeps getting used in your family tree? Do you have an ancestor named after someone famous? .” George was my paternal great-grandfather and boy, George Henry is a name that keeps getting used in our family tree. It leads to all sorts of complications and mix-ups or mistakes particularly when other branches of the family tree insist on naming their firstborn sons George Henry as well.  And just to add insult to injury, the name CARRETT also gets misread by the OCR as GARRETT.
