Waterfall General (Garrawarra) Cemetery

Just another quick one today to alert you to this call for feedback on the Waterfall General (Garrawarra) Cemetery north west of Helensburgh near Wollongong.

If you have ancestors that died of TB (tuberculosis) and who lived in NSW, they may very well be buried here.

There is a searchable burial register on the page.

There's a great little video too (15 mins or so) - well worth watching to get a feel for the place and its history.

Loved the video. I found this interesting not because I am related to anyone buried there but because my mother was a nurse at the Waterfall Sanitarium.

Dear Diane

The video is great isn't it? I remember you saying on your blog that your mother was a nurse. Talk about synchronicity !
