'.<br />Now that I have retired far from the main places of my life, to The 'Birthplace of Victoria' *where 8 or 12 of my GGGGGparents all landed in 1850's, I have a sense of that Spirit Of Place that indigenous people understand. I love driving daily past the very place where my direct ancestors were married in 1859.<br />*My Nan used to joke that "we helped the Hentys get their luggage off the boat".<br />I am happily anticipating the Census this year, having been ommitted from the previous 2 censuses (censii?).
